Lloyds TSB Scotland's Miss Saltire, Dawn Miller, will be at The Grange on Sunday June 18th to wish the Scottish team good luck as they prepare to take on The Durham Dynamos. Miss Saltire will be dressed in a contemporary Saltire Gown from Thistle and Broom and will be the teams' official mascot for the match.
The Saltires have been enjoying a successful season so far and hope to continue to go from strength to strength as the season progresses.
Miss Saltire said,
'It is a real honour for me to be here today, in this beautiful gown, to wish the Saltires luck. It looks set to be a great game and the team really are doing us proud this year. It is so important to give our national squad the support they need and Im delighted to be able to able to represent Lloyds TSB Scotland here today.'
Craig Wright, team captain, said,
'We're thrilled to have such a stunning mascot here today to support us and hopefully she'll bring us luck in our game against Durham.'
The gown, designed by Glasgow couture designer, Spencer Railton is one of five produced exclusively for luxury goods purveyor Thistle and Broom. Only one of the five gowns made remains in Scotland and is a real statement of national pride.
