The remains of a lone tree on Rannoch Morr near the entrance to Glencoe. The large pyramid shaped hill to the left of the tree is Buachaille Etive Mor (the Big Herdsman), beloved by climbers and feared by walkers it stands guard over the entrance to the glen. We're all ever affected by the history of Glencoe; the raw emotion which can boil up inside you in this achingly beautiful place desolate of humanity and birdsong can be unsettling to say the least.
